My dream come true! A real handmade dulcimer. You can tell that I am so happy to have it in my lap. It is so beautiful. I actually look like I know what I'm doing and I sorta do. It has been such a long time since I have had one to play. But just like a bicycle it's coming back to me. I just want to thank Jay for getting it for me. It feels even better than Christmas and my birthday all wrapped into one. The first thing I remembered how to play was the music I made up myself while sitting in the woods at my home in NC. I also remembered "Amazing Grace" pretty well, but it's going to take practice to get it right again. I don't foresee any problem with getting "practice" in each day.
